Karin E. Marchessault, 71, of Stockwell Road, Glendale, died Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of Karen A. Yetter. They had been together for 25 years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Robert Serbus and Lucille (Whiteside) Holden. She had lived in Glendale for the past eight years. She had previously lived in North Providence.

Karin had retired over nine years ago as the Volunteer Coordinator at St. Francis Chapel in Providence. Karin was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and an active member of the St. Xavier Alumni Association. Karin's hobby was sewing.

Besides her wife, Karin is survived by her children: Joseph and Donald Marchessault and Alyssa Yetter, her three grandchildren: Theodore and Colby Marchessault and Violet Colon, her siblings: Kacey Richard, James Holden, Corie Craig, Christine Roberts, and the late Colin Serbus and Kathleen Norton.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:30am in Slatersville Congregational Church, 25 Greene St, Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation, Monday, 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Rest in Peace dear Karin. I was a classmate of Karin´s at St. Xavier´s. Karin was one of a kind and she will be dearly missed by many.
