Karl F. Gudex, 62, of the Town of Ashford went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center in Summit. He was born in Fond du Lac on February 22, 1963, the son of Eugene and Bertha (nee Habeck) Gudex.
Karl was a graduate of Campbellsport High School and attended the Agriculture Short Course at UW-Madison. He farmed on the family farm in the Town of Ashford. Karl loved spending time with his dog, Kirby and taking care of the cattle and looked forward to the family gatherings for Friday night fish.
Karl is survived by his sisters Marilyn (Bob) Zerbst and Elaine (Mike) Powell, brothers Leonard, Kenneth, George (Kay), Dennis, Dale (Sharon), and Gene, many nieces and nephews, neighbors, friends, and his companion Kirby.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Bertha, brother Loran, and sisters-in-law Diane, Karen, Jean, and Jill.
A Funeral Service for Karl will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22nd at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena, St. Campbellsport with Reverend Paul Cerny officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Forest
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22nd from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.
The family would like to thank the Campbellsport Ambulance and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Aurora Medical Center-Summit for all they did for Karl.
