Karla Marie (Presser) Klaybor, age 60, found peace April 28th after a hard fought battle with Lymphoma. Karla was born July 3rd 1963 to Mary Therese (Kaufman) & Richard Presser. Beloved wife to her husband Randal Klaybor of 39 years, & most cherished mom to her two daughters Leah & Kelly. Sister to Christy (Gerry Holgerson) Presser, the late Bryan Presser, Rosemary (David Schwid) Presser, Joe (Carrie) Presser, Tom (Stephane Hartl) Presser, Kelly (Jason Dudley) Presser. Treasured daughter in law to Alice Klaybor & sister in law to Dale & David Klaybor. Adored aunt & great aunt to her nieces & nephews.
Born in South Milwaukee, Karla graduated from South Milwaukee High School, class of '81. She began her career at Blue Cross in 1983, where she made many lifelong friends. High school sweethearts, Karla & Randal married March 3rd, 1985. As a family, with their two daughters, they loved traveling together and seeing bands. This included: a west coast road trip where they saw the Grand Canyon & Joshua Tree, and east coast trips where they saw The Lion King & went to a game at Fenway. The family also left the US to see Scotland & Ireland, where they went to the Fairy Pools, Bushmills & walked across the Carrick-a-Rede bridge; Mexico where they cave snorkeled & saw Aztec ruins; and Canada to see Niagara Falls. Karla's favorite concerts included several trips to see Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, and U2. Her favorite trip of all was with family & little sister Kelly to Las Vegas to see U2 live at the Sphere in November of 2023. This trip celebrated Karla's 60th & Kelly's 50th birthdays.
Thank you to Dr. Fenske & the medical Oncology team at Froedtert for outstanding care over the past decade.
Visitation will be Friday May 17th from 10:00am- 12:00pm, Mass 12:00-1:00pm, at St. Matthias Parish in Milwaukee (9300 Beloit Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53227), 1:30-4:00 pm, at Clifford's Supper Club (10418 W Forest Home Ave, Hales Corners, WI 53130). In lieu of flowers please send donations to MKE Rescue Mission, St Ben's Community Meal and Joe's Run, Walk & Roll for "Mia's Team" or your own favorite charity.

My heart is so heavy I don´t think words can express what I feel. Karla was the sweetest person you could ever meet. She was a super work partner & a great friend. We could talk for an hour easily about life & our kids. She loved life, fun & again a great worker & super friend. She never complained just moved forth with everything she had to do. That included work & helping others. Always loved time with her family & friends & coworkers. There will be a huge void in so many lives. Karla touched all. Karla we love you & will never forget you.

My heart is broken for your family. I have had the pleasure of working with Karla for many years and cannot tell you how seeing her name pop into my inbox could bring a smile to my face.
Karla was so very proud of her husband, daughters and grand children. The last picture I have is from Halloween where you were number blocks.
You are all in my prayers.

I didn't have the chance to see Karla and Randy very often, but we did have Dancing Jenga, just last summer, what a fun day I'm glad we had a chance to share it. My sincerest condolences to Randy and all of the Family. She will be missed.

Karla was always the sunshine in any room she entered. Her smile and laugh brightened the life of every person she knew. We send our daily prayers to Randy and all family members. Love Ron and Kathy Sturomski
