Karla Jo Pfau, age 72, of Hillsdale, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Claudia's Glen at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born March 3, 1953, in Hillsdale, to Wayne and Doris (Baker) Pfau.
Karla graduated from Jonesville High School in 1971, and she was formerly employed at Fiebig's Jewelry Store in Jonesville. She later worked for Hillsdale Tool and Manufacturing before moving to Homestead, Florida where she was the co-owner and operator of Dave's Aluminum. Karla was a member and usher of the Jonesville United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, taking car trips especially to the Udder Side, and watching movies, her favorites being Pretty Woman and the Sound of Music.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda (Rob) Davis of Land O' Lakes, Florida; one granddaughter, Isabel Davis; three siblings, Martha (Richard) Godfrey of Jonesville, Charles (Flo) Pfau of Jonesville, and Mary (Dave) Palmer of Hillsdale; two stepchildren, David Murray, and Heather Murray; and several step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Karla was preceded in death by her parents, and one stepson, Patrick Michael Murray.
Funeral services for Karla Pfau will be held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Jonesville United Methodist Church with Pastor Tina Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM at Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jonesville United Methodist Church.
