With great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Karyn Butterfield, 53 of Pine Grove on December 8, 2024. Karyn is survived by the love of her life Carey Strubhar, her mother Barbara Adrian, her father David Butterfield, her sister and brother in-law, Kimberly and James Greenawalt and her nieces, Jenavive and Jillian. She enjoyed reading, working out, hiking and long motorcycle rides with Carey. Karyn loved beach days and girl time with her sister and nieces. She was also a social member of the Union Fire Company and Social Quarters of Bethel. Karyn graduated from ELCO High School in 1989. She was an alumna of PACE Institute and Florida State at Jacksonville. Karyn was truly gifted with numbers and worked her entire career in the accounting industry. Her real passion and philanthropy was the rescue and fostering of homeless animals. Karyn's unwavering dedication saved many lives. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA at www.rsmspca.org The farewell will be December 18, 2024 at Christman's Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation begins at 5pm with service to follow at 6:30pm.
