ALBANY - Katherine S. Jaycox, 70, entered Eternal Life Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Conkrite Jaycox.
Katherine retired from SUNY after 40 years of employment. She enjoyed animals, Nascar, golf, tennis and watching football.
She was the sister of the late Doris Jaycox; dear friend of Josephine Mizener, Lenora Perrott, and Arthur and Betty Foo.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. The Rite of Committal will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, N.Y., immediately following the service.
