Katherine Y. "Kiki" Owens

Katherine Y. "Kiki" Owens, 63 of Delaware, entered into eternal rest in the early evening hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025 at her home, with her loving husband by her side.
Born February 3, 1962 in Taiwan, she was the only daughter of the late Chim & Lin (Yeh). Kiki graduated from High School in Taiwan and later earned her Bachelor's degree there she later earned her MBA from Franklin University. Kiki worked for MARS Inc. as a Quality & Food Safety Technician; she worked for them for 31 years before retiring. While working at MARS Inc., she met the love of her life Andre Lamont Owens. They married on December 27, 1991 in Delaware, Ohio.
Kiki is survived by her husband of 33 years Andre; son Adam (Pei Yi Chu) Thompson; daughter Ariel Owens; grandchildren Austin Thompson, Kira Kegley and Rory Owens; and brother YEH, CHANG--YUAN (and his family) and a host of nieces and nephews
Kiki recently became a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Marysville, after attending for the past year when her health would allow her to. She was involved with church as much as she could be. Kiki was also a voracious reader and an avid fisherman. She and Andre, and her friends enjoyed traveling to Amish Country, including Sugarcreek and Berlin, where they savored all of the food made there. Kiki also loved animals but specifically German Shepards. Over the past few years Kiki was able to cultivate and grow her friendship circle she spent countless hours chatting reading the Bible and going to get something to eat. She became a connoisseur of ice cream which she enjoyed very much.
Pastor Jeramy Stout will officiate a Celebration of Katherine's life at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Bible Baptist Church, 16435 Square Drive, Marysville, Ohio 43040.
