Although he was not a boy scout growing up, Steve became a leader as an adult. He also enjoyed rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking and camping for many years, including several camping and canoe trips to Algonquin Provincial Parc in Ontario, Canada. Steve also loved to travel, enjoying many trips to France and all over the United States. He also enjoyed photography and won some awards for photos of hibiscus.

Steve was also active in his church as an ordained elder and member of several church committees.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cyndy, his sister Robin, of Easley, South Carolina, nieces Jen and Kristin, great niece Jessa and great nephew Ethan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Mike and Jeff, and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2nd from 10am-12pm at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N., Canton, Ohio 44714.
