Katherine Salter Obituary
Trey Salter, a grandson, will be officiating.
Born in Fisher, Louisiana on June 3, 1925. Mrs. Salter entered heaven's gates on March 11, 2022, at 6:15 pm.
To those closest to her, Mimi was the epitome of a wonderful homemaker, a gracious hostess, and an expert planner. The matriarch of the family, she showed by example how to live and love and was always a tireless encourager to everyone. She was the family cheerleader, supporter, and most importantly a prayer warrior for all.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Cathy Salter Yaap and Elizabeth Salter Broussard both of St. Francisville, LA, and one son, Ty Salter of Ontario, CA. Mrs. Salter is also survived by four grandchildren: Elizabeth Yaap Watkins of Sonora, TX, Tynadall Yaap of Sugarland, TX, Mary Katherine Slocum of Houston, TX, Trey Salter of Canton, GA, and 10 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
