Katherine D. Schierle, a kind, caring, and wholesome individual, passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on December 11, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, she dedicated her life to spreading love and happiness to those around her.

Katherine's legacy will forever be carried on by those she leaves behind. Reinhold J., her loving spouse, was not only a partner but also a lifelong friend who stood by her side through thick and thin. Their bond served as an inspiration to many, reminding us all of the power of true love.

Her son Eric Schierle (Carol), and daughter Heidi Schierle were eternally grateful for the guidance and support their mother provided throughout their lives. Katherine's unwavering love gave them strength during difficult times and taught them invaluable lessons about resilience and compassion.

As a grandmother, Katherine played an essential role in shaping the lives of Daniela and Joseph. Throughout her life, Katherine found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Being a doting grandmother brought out her playful side as they shared laughter and love together. She cherished every moment spent with them and created beautiful memories that will be treasured by her family.

Katherine was preceded in death by her father Herbert and mother Dorothy. Their presence in Katherine's life influenced her kind-hearted nature that she shared with the world.

A Visitation to celebrate Katherine's life will be held on November 30, 2023, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. The service will commence at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:30 PM. Another Memorial Visitation will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM on the same day at the same location. These services are an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share stories, and honor the profound impact Katherine had on their lives.

In remembrance of Katherine, let us not dwell on the sorrow of her passing but instead celebrate a life well-lived. She reminded us of the importance of love, kindness, and cherishing those closest to us. May her spirit live on in our hearts as we continue to spread warmth and compassion throughout our own lives.

We extend our deepest condolences to Reinhold J., Eric Schierle (Carol), Heidi Schierle, Daniela, Joseph, and all those who were touched by Katherine's generous nature. May her memory serve as a guiding light during this difficult time, providing comfort and solace as you navigate through your grief.

Katherine D. Schierle was an exceptional individual who brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. Her legacy will continue to inspire love and compassion in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
