She was born on April 15, 1958 in Waycross to the late Clifford Ander Hale and Ann Elizabeth Dubberly Hale Thomas. Kathy was baptized in Jamestown Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, helping anyone she could, and scratching lottery tickets.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marion Holder and Lisa Yates.
Survivors include three children, Richard Herbert Perritt IV of Waycross, David Ander McKenzie of Brantley County, and Katylin Weathersbee of Waycross; grandchildren, Kayla Ann Perritt, Richard H. Perritt V, and Dylan Harley McKenzie; great grandchild, Paisley Walker; her mother, Ann Elizabeth Dubberly Hale Thomas of Waycross; brother, Andy Clifford Hale (Angie) of Waycross; sister, Debbie Howard of Colorado Springs, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (August 14, 2025) at the Greenlawn Cemetery Pavilion.
