Kathleen (Kay) Marie Brady, age 79, entered the eternal life on June 30, 2024. Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late Catherine (Fenton) and Patrick Foley formerly of Caragh Lake, Co. Kerry. Loving wife of Hugh Brady of 49 years. She is proceeded by her brothers the late Timothy (Norah Heneghan), Donald and Patrick (Lourdes Lacson). Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews as well as extended family and friends in the US and Ireland.
Kay was born in New York and in the parish of Holy Name and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1963. She retired from Metro North Railroad.
We had Katie too short a time but always felt fortunate we had her at all. Appreciate what you have while you have it.
Reposing Friday, July 5, at 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY. Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 6 at 9:30am at St. John-Visitation Church, 3021 Kingsbridge Ave, Bronx, NY. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Kathleen's memory to Calvary Hospital [https://fund.calvaryhospital.org/ways-to-give/memorial-and-tribute-gifts/]

I have very fond and fun mories of Kathleen when on holidays in Ireland. I remember her telling me about her cat "boots" , I had a cat Clyde at the time that looked like her boots. Rest in Peace Kathleen
