Kathleen “Kathy” Radford Bragg, 75, of Archdale, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.
Born October 19, 1949, in Murphy, NC, she was a daughter of the late Roy Radford and the late Zadie Lorene Beaver Radford-Young.
Kathy was a loving and generous woman whose heart was always turned toward others. She found joy in giving, often sharing her handmade crafts as special gifts of love to family and friends. Giving was truly her love language, and she expressed it in every thoughtful gesture and homemade creation. Kathy also loved cooking and baking, filling her home with warmth, comfort, and the delicious smells of her kitchen. As a prayer warrior, her faith was central to her life, and she deeply cherished her church family, who brought her strength, joy, and community. Above all, Kathy’s greatest love was her family, who will forever remember her kindness, creativity, and giving spirit.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judith Gemme and husband Michael; son, Anthony Bragg and wife Kristi; grandchildren, Jonah Gemme, Autumn Austin and husband Christian, Alyssa Bragg, and Kenzie Bragg; brothers, JC Radford, and LT Radford; twin sister, Annelene Robinson-Kimbrell, sister, Ellen English and husband Lawrence; along with several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Yorkinese, LuLu.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Radford and sister, Bonnie Bolton.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:45PM prior to the service.
Funeral service will be 7:00PM Friday, October 10, 2025, at New Heights Baptist Church in Trinity.
Burial will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery, 12488 Beaver Dam Rd, Murphy, NC.
