Obituary of Kathleen C. Buckmaster
Howells, NY
Kathleen 'Sis' C. Buckmaster, a resident of Howells, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill. She was 74. The daughter of Robert and Evelyn Cutler, Sis was born on October 28, 1950, in Middletown, NY.
Sis graduated from Middletown High School and worked as a school bus aide for Minisink Valley Central School District. Sis is known for her love of being around and on water, particularly her and Jim's special spot at Mohican Lake. She loved her boat(s), taking a fast-paced ride on her speed boat to then enjoying the slower pace leisure ride on her pontoon boat, was quite the water skier too, enjoyed swimming, and just sitting on her deck overlooking the water. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and doing special fun nanny things with them. She enjoyed life and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, James Buckmaster, her daughter, Dawn, and 2 grandsons, James Bruce and Nicholas Petrillo. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Bobby (Pat), Ollie (Kim), Kenny (Stacy), and several nieces and nephews.
Sis was predeceased by her son, James Buckmaster, and her parents, Robert and Evelyn Cutler.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00am at the Howells Cemetery, 244 New Vernon Road, Howells, NY 10932.

Sis and I worked at Dunn & Bradstreet many years ago, back in the 70´s. We would laugh so hard at silly things and just enjoyed being with her. So glad we had those times together.
