Kathleen E. Carey, age 75, of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, December 18th, at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. She was the loving mother of Mark Carey of Plymouth, Vincent Carey of Plymouth, and the late John Carey. Sister of Vincent Mandarano of Norwood, Frank Mandarano of FL, and Connie DiBona of Foxboro. She is also survived by her granddaughter Julia Carey, and ex-husband John P. Carey.
Born in Boston on July 18, 1948, daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Papsadaro) Mandarano. Kathleen grew up in Dedham and attended the Dedham School System. She later went on to achieve her hairdressers license. Kathleen raised her family in Plymouth and was a caring and devoted mother.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (North) Plymouth, on Wednesday, December 27th, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place the following day in St. Peter's Church, Plymouth, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations in Kathleen's memory may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. Donation button below.
