Kathleen Core Obituary
Kathleen "Kathy" Core, age 73 of Waupun, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Kathy was born on July 11, 1952, the daughter of John and Beatrice (Aalsma) Heideman. She graduated from Oakfield High School and lived in Waupun her entire life.
Kathy was employed at both Electri-Wire and Federal-Mogul in the factory for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed working on her crocheting skills and making keepsakes for her family. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren, and cherished the time she could spend with them. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and had many friends and family who loved and appreciated her.
Kathy is survived by her daughters, Tammie (David) Feske, Melissa (Brian) Loeck, and Cindi (Shannon) Zech; seven grandchildren, Jacob Duer, Nicholas Core (special friend, Megan and daughter Neveah), Gabrielle Loeck, Max Loeck, Emma Feske, Issac Feske, and Michael Zech, along with great-grandchild, Kaizen Core; siblings, Willie (Phyllis) Heideman, Ken (Rose) Heideman, Sharon Heideman, and Jon (Patty) Heideman; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fernald (Lee) Heideman; and other relatives.
In honoring Kathy's wishes, private family services will be held.
