Kathleen Lenore Crader, 64 was born in Jennings, LA to Joseph Broussard and Everline Smith. She was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School System and completed credits at Grambling State University. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member and devoted pianist at Union Baptist Church.
For many years, Kathleen worked her way up as a dependable manager at both Wal-Mart, Shop-Rite and earlier in life as a ship-fitter with LeVac Shipyard. To family and friends, Kathy was always available to give advice and or a helping hand.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Everline Smith-Perkins, Joseph Broussard, and Leo Crader.
Kathleen leaves to cherish her memoires, three daughters: Tareah Crader, Michaela Crader and Kaydell Crader (Darl Wright); six grandchildren: Allen Crader, Miss Armani Crader, Ta'Kyrah Randle, Mhalia Crader, Kai'Zlynn Crader, Ta'Kyrhii Crader; bonus daughters, Vercey Lawdins, Jamie Lawdins; dependable parental figures, Henry Perkins, Judy Broussard; brothers, Troy Smith (Mary Ann Smith), Donald Thibodeaux, Darrel Thibodeaux; sisters, Julie Thibodeaux, Henrietta Richardson, DaMia Walker; aunts, Andrea "Tippy" Woods, Mernia Jordan; uncles, Issac "Bum" Tyler, Sr., Rogers "Randy" Lawdins, Arnold Crader; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Union Baptist Church with Pastor Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. officiating. Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 9:00 am until the time of celebration services. Burial will follow in Benevolent Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
