Remembering a Life Full of Love and Light
Kathleen Dockum passed from this life into eternal life and went to her heavenly home on July 20, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend. She is survived by her mother Pamela Dockum, her brother Jeffrey Dockum, step-brother Jason Dockum and step-sister Madison Dubay and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Kathleen was greeted in heaven by her father Jeff Dockum, her paternal Grandparents and maternal Grandparents. She was affectionately known as Kat. She was loved by so many and never had a bad thing to say about anybody. She endured more pain than most people, yet had the deepest love for those who were deprived of love.
Kathleen was a woman who loved the Lord, her family and friends. She attended Kittanning Senior High School and Lemon Bay High School. After high school she pursued her passion for Ecology and Environmental Conservation Biology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Kathleen was a resident of Worthington, PA. Since she was young she spent half her life in PA and half her life in FL.
Some of Kathleen’s most endearing qualities was her magnetic personality, warmth and kindness. She loved music, cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing and animals. Her passion for animals was soothing and intense, and she cared for them as if they were human. She was a free spirit and hard worker.
May Jesus open his loving arms and hold you tight and surround you with his white golden light of Endless Love and protection. Now you have your angel wings so go dancing with the Angels. No more pain, no more sickness and no more sadness. You are home.
Her untimely departure has left a massive void in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be missed and will be forever in our hearts by her loving family and friends.
The viewing will be at William Slater II Funeral Service on Friday, July 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Address: 1650 Greentree Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. 412-563-2800
