Kathleen Ruth Einstman

Kathleen Ruth Einstman (nee Heidtmann) passed away at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 83 on December 17, 2025. Kathleen is survived by her dear husband of 27 years, John Einstman; her loving children, Christyne (Michael), Paul (Lori), Kevin, and Kathleen (John), and thier father; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Catherine, Stephen, Cameron, Olivia, and Kevin; and her great-grandchildren, Lovella and Cayden. She is also survived by her husband's children, Nancy (Michael), John (Brona), and Alice; as well as his grandchildren, Logan, Jack, Ted, Max, and Charlie. All were equally dear to her. Kathleen was born and raised in Floral Park, where she attended Floral Park Memorial High School and received a degree in Nursing from the Methodist School of Nursing in Brooklyn. She was a nurse by profession, and a true caretaker and helpmate by nature. She was an accomplished cook and baker. She raised an organic garden and won numerous awards from local fairs and competitions. She traveled to all 50 states and visited all but 5 U.S. National Parks. Most importantly, she never let a day go by without letting you know that you were loved and appreciated. She will be greatly missed and beautifully remembered by her family.
