Sandra Einstman Obituary

Sandra J. Einstman 1956—2017
Sandra Jean (Dixon) Einstman, 60, died peacefully on February 5, 2017 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in Kennesaw GA after a long illness. Sandy was born March 24, 1956 in Rockford IL to Robert and Shirley (McDonald) Dixon. She graduated from Hononegah High school, Rockton IL and received a BSN degree from the University of Illinois where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Sandy held the position of Nurse Supervisor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL before moving to Marietta GA where she continued her nursing career at St Joseph Hospital and Ross Memorial Healthcare Center. Her devotion to her son, Andrew, her Catholic faith through St Joseph Catholic Church and love of music and piano continued to provide her comfort in difficult times. Sandy's bright light for life will shine on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Sandy leaves her beloved son, Andrew J Einstman, mother, Shirley Dixon, brother, Craig R Dixon, many special cousins, and nieces/nephews. Her dearest, adoring father preceded her in death.
Family has requested no public service. A family celebration of Sandy's life will be held in Illinois in the spring with interment at Willow Creek Cemetery, Argyle IL. A grateful special thanks to the Tranquility staff and Hospice 11th Hour friends who supported and comforted Sandy and her family in her final hours. Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I just learned of Sandy's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I was once Sandy's sister in law married to Paul.. She was very nice, funny, and kind.

What a wonderful soul! Sandy was a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She left us all too soon.

Indeed, she took her last breaths on earth this past Sunday, but we can take comfort in the knowledge that she then took her first breaths in Heaven, free of disease and free of pain.

Although her separation from us is only temporary, it is heartbreaking nevertheless. I offer my prayers that God will comfort and guide your family during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Dixon,

I am so sorry to hear about Sandy. She was a great roomie and friend. Even though we lost touch over the years, I am feeling real heartache. Sending you a virtual hug.

Do you remember that trip that you, Mr. Dixon, Sandy and I took to Champaign. Mr. Dixon was "challenged" with the boring nature of that drive and did everything he could to keep it interesting including driving with his feet, knees and nose!!! Chuckling about that trip have gotten me through many equally ho-hum drives.

Love,

Nancy

I'm so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing and would like to offer my deepest sympathy to her family and friends. It's times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father can bring us comfort and can soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13,14
