Kathleen Gibbons

Kathleen Gibbons, 66, of Franklin Lakes, died on Tuesday, 12/19/23, after a brief illness. Kate grew up in Woodcliff Lake, attended Pascack Hills High School and spent her career in electronic sales. She was a sales manager for Sony Corporation, her last assignment being Manhattan and the northeastern region before retiring. Over the years she had many large clients, including the Walt Disney Company. Among Kate's great joys were her two nephews, her lifelong friends, her many German Sheperd dogs over the years, and lately her Irish Doodle, Malachy. Kate's love of beautiful handbags and shoes was only a hobby although some have thought she could go pro. Kate also volunteered her time at the Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is survived by her brother, Thomas, of Grand Beach, Michigan, and her nephews, John and Michael. She is pre-deceased by her mother Gloria; father, Robert Francis, and her brother, Robert Michael. Thew family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:00am – 12:15pm. A memorial service will be held at 12:15pm with burial to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
