Kathleen A. Jenkins (Coant), 70, of Fulton, NY, died on Monday August 18th, 2025, surrounded by family and love.
She was born on December 31, 1954, in Fulton, NY to Fredrick and Patricia Coant and graduated from Fulton High School in 1973. She then spent 52 years with her husband, Ed Jenkins, where they spent much of their life in Fulton and in Schoharie, New York. She worked at BOCES for 10 years, but her first love was being a Mother, Grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved every minute of it.
A mother to all. She cared fiercely for all who loved her and was always a helper and caregiver. She loved antiquing, traveling, remodeling, crafting, and being with her family. She was strong until her untimely passing.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Patricia (Puffer) Coant.; her amazing Husband, Edward Jenkins, her beautiful daughter: Tracie Anteman; her sister, Darl Granzow of Fulton, and her parents-in-law: Ken and Marge Jenkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter: Audrie Anteman; her son-in-law: Craig Anteman; sisters: Nancy Bartlett, Diane (Jim Szymanski) Dickquist and Cheryl (Randy) Bergman; sisters-in-law: Nancy (Tom) Williams, Mary (Greg) Munk, Kathryn (Dave) Diak and Sharon (Ray) Bohne along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and extended family, and of course her dog, “Jingle Bella.”
Kathleen will be missed by all who knew her and per her request, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude’s cancer center. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
