Kathleen Marie Kosmala (Deacon) passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2025. She was born on March 8th, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio. Kathy was a proud graduate of Cleveland State University. Kathy's passions included spending time with her sons, grandkids, family and friends. She also had a love of dogs; she had several furry friends in her lifetime, one of her favorites included a three-legged cocker spaniel named Chuckles. She loved reading and American history; she was a lifetime member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. She also loved collecting dolls and antiques. She was survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Kosmala; her sons, Michael (Stephanie), Nicholas (Vanessa) and Christopher (Katelyn); her beloved grandkids, Sabrina 16, Lincoln 11, Ella 9, Avery 9, Lucas 9, Benjamin 5, Maddox 3 and Scarlett 1 and her nieces, Melanie Steele and Christine Steele. Kathy had a laugh that filled a room and a love that filled your heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th, 2025, 10am-12pm, at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077, service will begin at noon, following the service we will travel to Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.
