Kathleen Clara Phillips

Kathleen Clara Phillips passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 74. She was born on May 25, 1949, in National City, California. Growing up, Kathy attended Novato High School and was a member of the 1967 graduating class.
Kathy dedicated her life to her family and to God. Her children were the most important thing to her. She showed such great love and affection to them, and to her grandchildren as well. Nana, as they called her, was truly head over heels in love with them. She was so loving and showered her grandchildren with gifts. In addition to her family, Kathy was defined by her relationship with God. She always had her Bible with her, loved sharing the Gospel, and was a true prayer warrior. Everything she did, she did through Christ.
Kathy also had an incredible talent for baking elaborately designed cakes. This is something she even taught to other women who attended church. Her creations were truly one of a kind, often making creatures appear almost life like.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Phillips, children; Ken Phillips, Nancy Reifert, Brian Phillips and Becky Thompson, grandchildren; Paige, Seth, Wesley, Andy, Maddie, Nolan and Fox, a great-grandchild Colbie, and her sister Nancy Smith.
A memorial service and celebration of life will take place in the future. If desired, memorial contributions in Kathy's name may be made to the Redwood Gospel Mission and and the missionaries supported by New Hope Baptist Church.
