Kathleen Louise (Brindley) Renz, 78 of Oak Harbor, OH passed away April 17, 2025 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo following a prolonged illness. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Kathy was born June 20, 1946 in Fremont, OH to the late Louis and Mae (Boysen) Brindley. She was a graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School and attended the University of Toledo. She was employed at Gladieux Inc. and Formetal Inc.
She was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need and was a friend to all. Kathy spent her time helping her father at the family business, 20th Century Lanes in Oak Harbor. She was a good bowler and enjoyed traveling to bowling tournaments with groups of bowlers from Oak Harbor.
She was an avid reader and loved art and antiques. She loved to travel and spent many vacations in Wyoming with her husband of 60 years Scott Renz. She also loved horses and dogs and working in her yard.
Kathy is survived by her husband Scott; sons Michael Renz and Thomas (Ann) Renz; grandsons Grabriel and Nicholas; sisters: Ellen Brindley and Karen LaFountain; sister-in-law Susan Rahm, and brother-in-law Randall Renz; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no services at this time. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesmanfuneralhome.com. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
