Kathleen Lois "Kathy" Riggs

Kathleen "Kathy" Lois Riggs, 77, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at The Altenheim after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born in Louisville on September 7, 1948, to the late Margaret Lessa Riggs and Benjamin L. Riggs.
She was caring, kind-hearted and a friend to all.
She worked as a systems analyst for Humana for 28 years, followed by 8 years at UPS.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert A. Riggs.
She is survived by her brothers, Randall "Randy" Riggs (Jean) and John Riggs (Kathy); numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, other loving family members and friends.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff at Belmont Village, The Altenheim, and Hosparus for their loving, compassionate care shown to Kathy.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Highway with her celebration of life to begin at 3 p.m. There will be a meal to immediately follow the celebration of life at the funeral home.
