She was born on December 7, 1959 in Louisville, KY.
She worked in various positions for the old St. Joseph's Hospital and Norton Audubon Hospital, being a 45-year employee. Her grandson, Wyatt, was the center of her world. She enjoyed thrifting, crafting, and was an active member at Turner's Club in her early life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Humphrey, Jr.; and father, James Daniel Whelan, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Donnie Humphrey (Danielle); mother, Patricia Whelan; brother, Danny Whelan (Tina); grandson, Wyatt Humphrey; and sister-in-law, Karen Kaelin (Greg).
Her visitation will be held from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy. A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
