Kathy (Connolly) Rosenberger, 85, from Chelmsford, MA, passed peacefully on November 25, 2023, surrounded by family.
Born in Bronx, NY, later moving to Oradell, NJ, she was the middle daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Malloy) Connolly. She married her husband John "Jack" and celebrated over 59 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Ann Gardner (Steve) of Bristol, RI, and Amy Shaw of Henniker, NH.
She was grandmother (fondly referred to as "Mimi") to Matthew Gardner and Julia Bodah (Jacob) all from Bristol, RI, as well as Benjamin, Cassandra, Jonathon, Jennifer, Michael, and Thomas Shaw of NH. She also had three great grandchildren: Kamerin, Tomen, and Jaina. She is survived by her youngest sister, Elieen Murdock (David) of Edgewater FL. She has been reunited with her sisters Peggy, Maureen, and Pat. She was loved by many nieces and nephews as both she and her husband came from large families.
Shortly after meeting Jack at work and getting married, she moved to Massachusetts and settled in Chelmsford. After raising her children, Kathy graduated with a degree in nutrition, obtained her real estate license, and dabbled in the stock market. She was very artistic, and enjoyed nature, horseback riding, and boating with her family.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29th from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 30th at 10:30 am at St. Irene Parish, 181 East St., Carlisle. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, located at 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
