Kathleen Smith Rutledge, age 90, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at NHC Oakwood.
She was born September 19th, 1934 in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Jack and Nellie Roberts Smith. She retired from Inter City Products and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and step-mother, Georgia Smith, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Smith Rutledge in 1996; one daughter, Kay Rutledge Glascock; three sisters, Lorene Doggett, Mary Elizabeth Smith, and Martha Ruth Lanier.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Sarah (Cody) White of Cornersville; one great grandson, Lawson White; one great granddaughter, Molly Lynn White, a special nephew, Billy (Kathy) Lanier of Lewisburg; a son-in-law, Carl Glascock of Lewisburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN, on Monday, October 21st, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN, with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family wishes to thank the NHC Oakwood Staff for their care.
