Kathleen Urland Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Celie held degrees from Rollins and Nazareth Colleges and went on to a career as a dedicated and caring teacher. She was privileged to hold positions in seven school districts encompassing five states and one foreign country. Celie retired from the Victor School District after fifteen years.
Celie was active in the Victor, New York Community, serving on the town board for eight years as well as the planning board and growth management committee.
As an active member of the Republican Party, she served on the town, county, and state committees.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Urland; five children and seven grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held to honor Celie's life.

Dear Bob, Celie was a quiet, refined, independent woman who will be much missed. I was, and will always be, grateful for our friendship. She loved you and all of her family beyond measure. A smart gal who cared more about others ( human and four- legged beings) than herself.
Celie was one who listened and considered. Private in words, public in deeds. Humble, appreciative, and clever!
Whenever I see a deviled egg, a family brownie, a Talbot´s shop, it will bring a smile and remembrance of her!
