Kathleen Ann Vought, 64, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Alpena.

Kathy was born April 5, 1961, in Gaylord, Michigan to Richard and Regina (Dennis) Vought. She worked at Alpena Community College in the Registrar's Office, where she connected with numerous students for the past 30 years. Kathy enjoyed feeding the birds, pampering her cat "Lola, tending to her flowers, shoe shopping, taking evening walking and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving people person.

Surviving are her daughter, Britton (Ryan Hanrahan) Skuse; mother, Regina Vought; brother, Michael (Lori) Vought; three nieces and nephews, Jessie (Patrick) Crawford, Joshua (Maria) Vought, Jacob Vought; great nephew and niece, Callum and Amelia.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Vought and brother, Patrick Vought.

Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorial visitation will continue Wednesday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Emmanuel Finbarr officiating.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery

Memorials: Huron Humane Society or Second Chance Animal Shelter
