Kathryn M Bryant was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1940 to Ernest J. Manganaro and Georgianna Therrien Manganaro.
There She grew up athletically gifted and loved golfing with her father. She went to college at the Weber college in Avon Park Florida, where she met her true love. Ivey W Bryant whom she married and had 3 children with. Ernest, Stephen, and Gigi. She was devoted loving and involved with their lives in so many ways. She was a seamstress who often made clothes and costumes for everyone in the family.
She was a home room, mom at their school. She was the cheerleading coach for Gigi and team mom for each of her children in different years. She and Ivey learned how to film the high school games for the boys playing football. So the coaches could break down film. She loved doing arts and crafts. She learned from her mother-in-law and passed down to her daughter Gigi, along with a love for sewing, all while she worked as a bank teller, milk maid, retail sales associate, Vice President of an insurance marketing company, and side by side with her husband selling gourmet foods, and building a business as aluminum subcontractors.
That business she carried on after his Untimely death until her retirement. She went from the one who could kill artificial and silk flowers to a very accomplished home gardener, who grew beautiful flowers and plants. In her retirement, She traveled all over the US and into Europe to visit her daughter and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ivey w Bryant and son, Stephen Bryant and leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Walter Dethier. Her oldest son Ernest Bryant and her daughter Gigi Bryant. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5. Great-great-grandchildren and more than 100 young people who know her as Nana. In her last years, she was a member of Lighthouse Baptist church where she loved to sing onto the Lord.
Her legacy shall live on for generations to come.
