Kathryn "Kay" Bryant, 98, of Edgewood, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her residence. She retired as the Supervisor of Security for Wackenhut-Delta Airlines at Greater Cincinnati Airport in 1996. Since 1989, she attended Sherman Full Gospel Church in Crittenden, Kentucky.
Born on November 16, 1926, in Carmi, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Pearl Pyle. Kathryn "Kay" married William Carl Bryant in a double ceremony with her brother, Lawrence Pyle, and Betty Lou McGhee on June 8, 1946.
Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage until his passing on October 23, 2016. She is survived by her son, Michael Bryant, and her daughter, Judy (Draper) Bryant. Kay was a proud grandmother to Chris and Lisa Bryant, Scott and Traci Bryant (mother: Debbie Bryant Hill), David and Samantha Draper (father: Roger Draper), and Kevin and Michele Draper. She was also a loving great-grandmother to her fourth generation: Doug and Christine Bryant, Dylan and Jill Bryant, Matthew Bryant, Grayson Draper, Elly Draper, Mikayla Wychoff, Derek and Destiny Wychoff, Tanner Draper, Griffin Draper, and Bryce Draper. Additionally, she was a caring great-great-grandmother to her fifth generation: Tenley Bryant, Everly Bryant, Nolan Bryant, and Jameson Wychoff. Kay also leaves behind a special nephew, Leonard Lee Pyle, and his wife, Dotty Pyle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who she cherished dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, two brothers, Leonard and Lawrence Pyle, two sisters-in-law, Betty and Vera Pyle, her sister, Mary Erma Pyle, her great-grandson, Brandon Michael Bryant, and her great-great granddaughter, Oakley Wychoff.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Sherman Full Gospel Church, located at 3185 Dixie Hwy, Crittenden, Kentucky. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

Sister Bryant has always held a special place in my heart. She will be truly missed, but we will meet again when we are all together with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven. What a glorious reunion that will be.
