"Kathy" Kathryn Jean Chambers was born October 24, 1952 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Bobby Gene and Kathleen Elnora (Lynch) Stradley. She completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the age of 72.
Kathy graduated from Ryan High School. She married Richard Dean Chambers on May 14, 1984. Together they raised their son, Justin Ray. She loved showing horses and barrel racing with her father. Fishing with Richard and Justin was a favorite pastime of hers. She enjoyed watching Justin play baseball. She also loved to read books of all genres. Kathy loved her cats and dogs. One of her greatest joys in life was taking care of her granddaughter Rachel Lynn. She was employed as a deburr hand/material conditioner at Halliburton for 42 years and never had been laid off which was quite an accomplishment. She retired in 2015.
Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandy Spicer, Kathy is survived by her husband, Richard, son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Tracey Chambers, and granddaughter, Rachel Chambers. She is also survived by her brothers and sister-in-law: Bobby Wayne and Sandra Stradley and Eddy Stradley, Niece Amanda and husband Luis Navas, Nephew Braden Stradley and wife Mallory.
A service in her memory will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
