Kathryn T. Stott, 83, of Hurley, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Health Alliance Hospital in Kingston, NY. She was born on March 21, 1942 in Lynbrook, NY and was the daughter of the late Russell Titus, Jr. and Florence McAuliffe.
In addition to being a world traveler, Kathy enjoyed painting, knitting, and gardening. After a long career in nursing , she continued to serve the community by volunteering for Angel Food East, the Hurley Library Board, and Hurley Museum, among many others.
She is survived by her children, Peter Stott, Kiki Stott, Neil Stott and Michelle Weiss. Grandchildren, Shannon, Taylor, Paige, Dylan, Nicholas, Bobby and Leah. Her brother James Wade Titus and her longtime companion, Gunther Horner. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 30 years, Robert Kane Stott.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
