Kathryn Stucker, age 84, passed peacefully at home in her sleep on July 15, 2025. She was born on July 1, 1941, and her life was marked by creativity, passion, and a deep love for family and community.
Kathy was married to her beloved husband Lon for 62 years, having wed on January 17, 1963. An avid quilter, poet, artist, genealogist, and co-curator of the Lum & Aber "Jot Em Down" store, Kathy touched many lives through her talents and her kind spirit. She was also associated with several Montgomery County clubs, including the Heritage House Museum of Montgomery County, contributing to the preservation of local history.
She is survived by her husband Noah Lon Stucker, daughter Lorrie (Paul) Brown, son Scott (Caroline) Stucker, grandchildren Russel Stucker, Samuel (Amethyst) Stucker, Morgan Brown, Jonathan (Meghan) Brown. Kathryn's legacy extends to her beloved great-grandchildren Kingsley, Maverick, Wesley, and Auriel.
A memorial service to honor Kathy's life will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2:00 pm at Beasley Wood Funeral Home in Mena.
Kathy's warmth, creativity, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
