Kathryn Ward

Kathryn "Kitt" M. Ward of Poughkeepsie, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Charles Mosher and Florence Mosher, both of Poughkeepsie.
Kitt dedicated 53 years to her career in banking, working with Bank of New York, and Wells Fargo. She was known for her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for every customer she served. A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, she enjoyed a simple and fulfilling life surrounded by the people she loved.
She is survived by her son, Roger W. Ward II of Middletown, Virginia, and her sister, Barbara Waldron of Henderson, Nevada. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Jan Ward, and her siblings: Margaret Mosher of Poughkeepsie; Patricia Lowe of Poughkeepsie; Charles Mosher of Rome, NY; and Gerard Robinson of California. Kitt is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service and entombment will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA.
