Kathleen “Kuku” Bilger (nee Whitsett), born on April 23, 1952, Passed peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Daughter of Dr. Charles Whitsett PhD., and Helen Whitsett (nee Davis). Wife of Jame E. Bilger II. Mother of Patrick (Alli) Bilger. Stepmother of Laura (Cory) Garrett-Kelly, Kelly (Michael) Lamison. Grandmother of Macy and Jackson Garrett. KuKu to Kai Bilger. Sister of David (Susan) Whitsett and John (Juda) Bennett. Stepdaughter of Maureen Whitsett. Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Kathy was Art teacher at Craig Elementary School (Parkway) for 33 years. Kathy always said, “Art is for everyone, everyone is an artist.” Kathy was a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She enjoyed spending time at Lake of the Ozarks, traveling, playing tennis, and art projects. And being a fulltime KuKu to Kai. She always felt like she won the lottery with the family she had.
Kathleen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
