Kathy Cannon was born on May 13, 1968, to Nancy Weston and William Cannon. She passed away at Tidal Health in Seaford, Delaware on April 11, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
Growing up Kathy loved to clean even when there wasn't anything to clean, she would find something. Kathy attended Sussex Central High School and afterwards spent many years at Mountaire Farm in Millsboro, Delaware.
Kathy Cannon was predeceased by her father William Cannon who passed on February 10, 2014, her high school sweetheart Lomar Deshields on April 20, 2023, father figure who assisted with her upbringing Everette Tull Sr., on June 10, 2024, and grandson Andre Cannon on February 07, 2004.
Kathy was a devoted mother of four children, Shika Cannon (Adam Young) of Bridgeville DE, Chameca Cannon (William Washington) of Bridgeville DE, Tomar Cannon (Nakeia Jones) of Bridgeville DE and Lashon Cannon (Tawanda Johnson) of Bridgeville DE. Kathy was a beloved grandmother of 13 grandchildren Precious Cannon, Shanya Smith, Amira Tingle, Tyrese Cannon, Shawn Smith Jr, Keshawn Smith, Lashon Cannon Jr, Priest Willaims Jae'zion Cannon, Tomar Cannon Jr, Brianna Cannon, Khalil Jones and Myels Cannon. She always said their birth changed her life for the better and they felt that in love. Kathy also has 4 sisters Sharon (Robert) McPhatler of Lincoln, DE, Thomasina (Andrew) Jones and Paulette Weston of Woodbridge, Va. One bonus sister Alana Royal of Salisbury, MD, two brothers, Antonio Davis of Millsboro, DE and Richard Weston of Bridgeville, DE.
Kathy took pride in helping everyone. She had a heart of gold; however, she was very blunt and was always willing to give you a piece of her mind and wouldn't care. Kathy had no problem getting on the dance floor; she would fuss you out and dance in your face. Kathy looked forward to getting her favorite little cousin Kashawn Weston Jr. off the bus. She also loved spending time with her aunt Agnes Cannon who was more like a sister to her. Kathy will be deeply missed, and each moment will always and forever be cherished.
