Kathy Clark, 69, of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Cary, North Carolina passed away on July 29, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 6, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, to Malcolm and Madeline (Wolfarth) Kay. Kathy had a deep love for gardening and especially enjoyed watching her son, Conor, play roller hockey. In her younger years, she was an avid softball player and participated on the swim team. She loved spending summers growing up on Whaley Lake.She was proud of her Irish heritage and deeply patriotic, always holding her New York roots close to her heart. She is survived by her beloved son, Conor Clark; her sisters, Lynn Langan (Robert) of Breezy Point, NY, and Barbara Purdy (James) of Stormville, NY; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends she considered family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 12 years, Peter Conway Clark, a Veteran of the Vietnam War. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Wake Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7002 Green Hope School Rd., Cary, NC 27519, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the same location. On Monday, August 11th there will be a mass of Christian Burial for Kathy at St. John's R.C. Church, 39 East Main, Pawling, NY. at 11:00 am. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Pawling filling the mass. Kathy will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: https://www.stjude.org
