Kathy Lynn Cook, 58, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was a Godly woman who had a hard life. She is the true definition of a survivor with 12 years of sobriety. Doing Zumba and eating her daughters cooking were two of her favorite things. But being a grandma was what she loved most. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Cook; grandmother, Opal Cook; brother, Terry Cook and sister, Shelia Cook. She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Bratcher; son, Eric Julian; grandchildren, Diontay Elder, Dionna Elder, Jayden Bratcher, Jordan Elder and Eric Julian, Jr. and great grandchildren, Novalee Elder and Jayce Elder and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Road with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
