Kathy Ann Crawford, from Carmel, Indiana passed from this life on December 1, 2022, at the age of 63, after battling a neurological disorder for the last 7 years.
Kathy was born to Sylvia and Larry Luker on February 28, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Growing up in Indianapolis, Kathy graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1977 before attending Purdue University, graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Retail Management in 1980. Upon graduation, Kathy began her lifelong career in the retail industry working for L.S. Ayres, Halston Fragrances, YSL Cosmetics, Calvin Klein Fragrances and Chanel Cosmetics, retiring from Chanel in 2015.
In her free time, Kathy loved spending time with family and friends, and traveling the world. She thoroughly enjoyed weekends at the Warriner home with the Warriner and Schleifman families, holidays with her parents and summertime with the Crawford family enjoying water and sun on Lake Freeman. Kathy was blessed to be able to travel for work events & vacations, both domestically and internationally, visiting more than 100 cities, with favorites being Paris, France and Rome, Italy.
Kathy is survived by her husband Chris Crawford, her son Chase Crawford, stepdaughter Chelsea Crawford, stepson Jason Crawford and his wife Katie Crawford (Gallagher), grandson Cooper Crawford, granddaughter Teagan Crawford, parent in-laws, Ron and Clara Crawford, brother in-law Rock Crawford and his wife Beth Crawford, Cody Crawford and his wife Nikki Crawford (Maple), daughter Aurora Crawford, Hannah Marvin (Crawford) and husband Travis Marvin, sons Maddox Crawford and Ryatt Crawford, Keegan Dunn (Crawford) and Mark Dunn, Hayden Gillam (Crawford) and Josh Gillam; mother Sylvia Luker, uncle Joe Book, sister Annette Luker, niece Lauren Massing, nephew Mitchell Massing.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father Larry Luker.
Kathy will have a Celebration of Life event on Sunday, December 18th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park in the Prairie Waters event center, located at 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield IN 46062.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Children Hospital, Indianapolis, IN or to the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN
