Just learned of Kathy's passing. First met her through our mutual love of Irish music. She was a wonderful musician and also had a lovely singing voice. A woman with tremendous talent but had a quiet, unassuming manner about her! My deepest sympathy to her family and friends!

Kathy was a valued member and scholarship recipient of our association. She provided presentations and music for a number of our events; she was a skilled and talented musician. We were sorry to learn of her passing, she will be deeply missed.
Condolences to her family and friends.

Kathy Fallon was a quiet, loving gentle soul who often didn't speak her mind it seems until one got to know her better and she felt comfortable with you. Our friendship blossomed over time when I started asking her questions about scripture, and that's when she often shared her struggles and triumphs in life and her walk with the Lord. She also prepared me for my baptism several years ago when I joined Community of Christ, and it really changed my life. She was an amazing musician and I looked forward to her church concerts and sermons. We had fun at Temple Grove where we both attended a women's retreat several years ago. I'll never forget her sense of humor and laugh, she was really quick at picking up little nuances and always made you feel at home in her presence. She will be missed so much!

It´s hard for me to share what´s in my heart about Kathy. She was a dear friend, both through the Irish music we shared, and in her love of books and animals.
We both loved Tolkien and Harry Potter, so she was often my movie buddy. For many years, she spent New Year´s Eve with us, and we´d watch movies (Wizard of Oz was a favorite!).
As a guitarist she had the rare ability to know exactly what a tune needed, and I´d often tell her that her playing added another dimension to the music.
She loved to learn, whether working on her fiddle playing, watching documentaries or reading. She loved working with young people, and was devoted to her church community. She loved to laugh.
Above all, she was kind and good-hearted, as is clear by the outpouring of sorrow and love from the many friends she made throughout her life. I will miss her very much.

Kathy and I played together in contradance bands for years, and we had a great time. It's as though she *became* the music, and drew everyone into that--fellow musicians and happy listeners alike.
Kathy had a sense of humor that was somehow both good-hearted and deliciously wicked. Also creative. The photo below is from Christmas Day 2001, when I gave her a hand-held 'Thumper' massager. She's the one who saw the resemblance to ET.
Kathy was always camera-shy, and so I have several pictures like the second photo (1999).

I played in contradance bands with Kathy for many years, and we had a great time together. It's really as though she *became* the music and drew everyone else in.
Kathy had a sense of humor that was somehow both good-natured and delightfully wicked. And creative. On Christmas Day 2001 (photo) I gave her a handheld 'Thumper' massager and she's the one who noticed the similarity to ET.
She was also perpetually camera-shy, which is why I have a number of photos like the second one.
