Kathy Marie Meredith, age 65, of Speedwell, Tennessee, went home to be with Jesus, on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Born April 4, 1960, to the late John and Cleda Harp, Sr., Kathy devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She was amazing kind and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Kathy enjoyed attending church services, especially at Shipley Grove Church of God; and reading a good reddit conspiracy online. She especially loved going fishing, swimming with her grandson and having sleep overs with her two sisters. Kathy will surely be missed by her loving family and friends.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Estal Harp, Gary “Tuna” Harp and John “Booie” Harp; and one sister, Samantha Harp.
Survivors include one son, Phillip (Santana) Meredith, Sr.; one grandson and the light of her life, Phillip Harp; two sisters, Tammy Drummonds and Michelle Harp; three brothers, James (Susie) Harp, Leroy Harp and Jimmy Dale Harp; and a host of special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
To honor her wishes, private cremation services were cared for at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, at Shipley Grove Church of God in Speedwell with Rev. Ricky Braden officiating.
Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel, of Harrogate, Tennessee is honored to serve the family and friends of Kathy Marie Meredith.
