Kathy Sigafoose Obituary
Kathleen Sigafoose, of Tustin, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home. She was 73.
Kathy was born on April 19, 1950 to Arthur and Cleo (Hornbaker) Hunt in Lansing, Michigan. In 1969 she entered into marriage with Thomas Sigafoose in Cadillac, Michigan. The couple enjoyed many special trips over the years going on countless cruises and going on numerous camping trips throughout the state. Kathy enjoyed going on walks with her friends, where they would share stories of their day and often many laughs. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books. Kathy cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, and loved cheering them on at their sporting events.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Sigafoose of Tustin; mother, Cleo Hunt of Cadillac; son, Mark Sigafoose of Winchester, VA, Casey (Holly) Sigafoose of McBain, and Meegan Stahl of Jenison; grandchildren, Alex Sigafoose, Sean (Caitlin) Sigafoose, Cody Sigafoose, Adri (Jake) Shaarda, Ally (Jacob) Harney, Samantha Stahl, Zachary Stahl, and Elena Stahl; great-grandchildren, Avery and Myla, and one more on the way; siblings, Gordy (Lisa) Hunt and Ken (Dinah) Hunt; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Hunt.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Holdship Family of Funeral Home in McBain.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be directed to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of Michigan, www.mg-mi.org.
