Kathy Renee' Welch of Longview Texas passed away on June 15, 2025. Kathy was born September 7, 1961 in Henderson, Texas to Ronald Thurman Bridwell and Francis Dorsey.
Kathy Welch was married to George Thomas Welch, the love her life on August 17, 1979. Together they cherished a marriage of 46 years of love and devotion, inspiring each life they touched with a testament of their love.
Kathy was a loving mother of two children, Tiffoney Main, husband Johnny Main, and Dustin Welch, wife Sarah Spivey-Welch. Kathy Welch was Mimi to two grandchildren that she held very close to her heart Emma Grace Main daughter of Tiffoney and Johnny Main and Waylon Thomas Welch son of Dustin Welch and Sarah Spivey-Welch. In addition to her children Mrs. Welch was a mother figure to so many who lovingly called her Momma K, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathy was the youngest of five children. Proceeded in death by her two brothers Ronnie Bridwell, wife Sue Bridwell and Thurman Bridwell wife Paula Adams. Left to cherish her memory are her two sisters Brenda Mattson, husband Carl and Debbie Johnson, husband David.
Kathy Welch loved life and people she was never without kind words in conversations and had a smile that drew you to her in a way that was unimaginable. She had the ability to light up a room and speak to others in a way that you always felt welcomed, appreciated and loved, a true lady of class, christianity, and grace. Her hobby was people. She loved everyone as if they were her own family and she lived her life loving each person that came in her path as if they were her very own child. Cherishing each moment to the fullest being a devoted wife, mother, Mimi, and Momma K.
Visitation for Kathy Welch will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 for 6-8pm
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10 AM at Rader funeral home with graveside services immediately after at Memory Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Travale Henson (Slow B), Cody Yoder, Mason White. Brady Putnam, Dustin Williams, and Adrian Hawkins (Twankie). Honorary Pallbearers are: Bhavesh Patel and Fred Hawkins.
