Kathy Mae Wilusz, age 74, of Clarkston, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Troy, surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born on January 2, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. She was a dedicated and accomplished professional, working as an accountant and general manager in many car dealerships, beginning with her family's business. Her strong work ethic and leadership were evident throughout her career, but it was her warmth and love for others that truly defined her life. Kathy married the love of her life, Paul Wilusz, on June 17, 2007, in Rochester, Michigan. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and shared joy. She especially cherished time spent at the family cottage in Port Austin, where countless memories were made with those she held closest. Kathy was the beloved mother of Jennifer (Brian) Shore of Clarkston, Michigan, and Jillian (Joseph) Violi of Traverse City, Michigan. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Lila and Lindsey Shore. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Forgach and Shirley Elward Piscitello. Kathy is survived by her siblings, Barbara (Joseph) Chirco of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, and Gary (Sandra) Forgach of Rochester, Michigan. Kathy's legacy of love, strength, and kindness lives on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Kathy will be laid to rest at Oakview Cemetery (1032 N. Main St., Royal Oak 48067), at the corner of Rochester Rd. and Gardenia Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Kathy's name to American Heart Association https://www.heart.org/en/why-give
