It is with great sadness that the Dill family announces the passing of their beloved daughter, Katie Danielle Dill. She is forever resting in the arms of the Lord.
Katie was born in Union, July 9, 1984, a daughter of Danny and Gail Price Dill of Jonesville. She was a 2003 graduate of Jonesville High School, received a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University and a degree from Spartanburg Community College. Katie led a life of service by volunteering at various places in the Spartanburg area. She had a true servant's heart and would offer her time to help those in need. Katie attended services at the ID Clifton church.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Jack Dill and wife Ashley of Jonesville; beloved niece and three nephews, Sibcy Dill, Jack Dean Dill, Henry Dill and Abram Dill. Katie is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Mary Price of Charlottesville, VA; numerous aunts, uncle and cousins; and her fur baby, Bandit. Katie will be missed by her closest friends or her "Golden Girls", Stephanie Young, Laura Arrieta, Lauren Prentiss, and Rachel Crites. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Earl Price, her maternal grandmother, Mildred Leonard and husband Ronnie and her paternal grandparents, Jack and Dot Dill.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon. Burial will follow in Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be Dustin Arrieta, Chuck Arrieta, Paul McKee, Chris Garner, Brandon Johnson, and Justin Addington.
The family will be at the home of her parents, Danny and Gail Dill, 109 Reservoir Rd., Jonesville, SC 29353.
