Katrina L. Tripp, 31, of Marion peacefully passed away on May 28, 2025 at Tufts Medical Center from complications due to Type 1 Diabetes. She was surrounded by her loving friends & family.
The daughter of Shelby J. (Somerville) Tripp of Brewster and Jeffrey J. Tripp of Marion, Katrina lived in Marion all her life.
She had just graduated from nursing school and was looking forward to a career helping people as a registered nurse. Her career goals included working with diabetic children.
Katrina enjoyed cooking, shopping, and was the most thoughtful gift giver in the world. She liked renaissance fairs, carnival rides, going to the movies, shopping at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, trips to Disney World and visiting her sister in California.
She was happiest amongst the company of her blue heelers, Blue and Junior.
Survivors include her parents; her 2 sisters, Jessica Tripp of Los Angeles, CA and Kate Grant of Marion; her brother, Kurtis Keohane of Little Compton, RI, his wife Kayleigh and their daughter, Katrina's niece, Hattie; her grandmother, Geraldine (Medeiros) Tripp of Westport; her aunt, Lucy Bly of New Bedford; and her Godparents, Dean and Karen Martin of Westport.
She was the granddaughter of the late Isaac Tripp.
Her services will be private.
