Kay M. Palm, age 61, of Hoffman, and formerly of Germantown, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at her home. She was born July 29, 1963, in Breese, a daughter of the late Richard and Dolores (nee Eversgerd) Kohrmann.

Kay is survived by her step-son, Jeff Palm of New Douglas; siblings, Kim (Robert) Glenn of Missouri, Mark (Cheryl) Kohrmann of Golconda, and Scott (friend, Brenda Jansen) Kohrmann of Germantown; sisters-in-law, Carol Palm of Carlyle, Cynthia Storment of Xenia, and Debra Foster of Centralia; uncles and aunts, Jack Eversgerd, Shirley Eversgerd (god-mother), Jan Eversgerd, Charlene Eversgerd, all of Germantown, Virgil Wehking of Bethalto, Toni Eversgerd of East Meadows, NY, Melanie Kohrmann of New Minden, Blanche Kohrmann of Bartelso, and Janice Kohrmann of Bartelso; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Professionally, Kay dedicated her time and talents to helping others, working at Timken Rail Bearing in Carlyle and later in Client Resources at Community Link. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and formerly worshipped with her husband at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman.
Kay will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for animals, and her green thumb-she found great happiness in gardening and caring for her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed assisting her husband with Palm Trucking and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown with Fr. Thomas Lugge officiating. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery in Germantown.
